This week The New York Public Library released more than 180,000 of its public-domain items — including maps, posters, manuscripts, sheet music, drawings, photographs, letters, ancient texts — as high-resolution downloads, available for public use!
We’ve selected a few of our favorite images from their vast collection. The folks at the library have done a great job making images searchable. Cruise through the site on your own or check out some of their pre-filtered collections.
